EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION

Ms. Begun is licensed in Maryland and the District of Columbia and admitted to practice before the United States District Court for the District of Maryland and certified to practice before the Supreme Court of the United States. Ms. Begun was awarded a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Maryland, College Park and she was awarded her Juris Doctorate from the Columbus School of Law, The Catholic University of America. Ms. Begun began her legal career as a Law Clerk to the late Honorable L. Leonard Ruben, in the Circuit Court for Montgomery County. Ms. Begun is a Member of the Montgomery County Bar Association; the Frederick County Bar Association; and the Maryland State Bar Association. She is a certified and trained mediator, with special certification in both child custody and marital property matters; she is trained and certified as a Best Interest Attorney for minor children; she collaboratively law trained and is a trained and certified parenting coordinator.
